And We Began In Fire [open] [intro log]
Mar. 2nd, 2016 10:15 pmWho: Veloxia, the NPCs, and YOU
What: The first batch of arrivals Veloxia has abducted from across realities and times waking up collectively in their new surroundings.
When: Today
Where: The room adjacent to Veloxia herself (the Core Room); and well, from there, please see the specified thread starters!
Warnings: To be added should anyone get rambunctious, but nothing for now!
First, you were sleeping. Or perhaps dead. Maybe you were knocked out cold. Either way, you were unconscious for some reason. You likely didn't expect to open your eyes to this: a woman connected to countless wires, looking as though she was made of bronze, sits in the room. She looks at you, and all here, and says, very disjointedly, "I. Am. Veloxia." Her voice sounds dry and tired, a slightly mechanical inflection to its quality. The mechanical woman pauses, jerking as gears and electricity whir in attempt to power her functions. "I. Need you. To repair. Me. Talk to. The three."
And as simply as that, her piece said, you will black out again, and wake up elsewhere--a room just down the hall, through a large metal door. This room is much more hospitable, and is what looks to be a break room. There are comfy couches and chairs all around, as well as what look to be coffee makers and fridges. The aesthetic might be different, but the theme is familiar: it's somewhere people would gather to relax. There are others here beside you, whom, if you notice, all appear to be women. They're all as misplaced and confused as you, so don't worry. If you have powers, almost all of them seem to be gone or so drastically reduced that they may as well no longer be present, given how harmless they now are. For some, a distinct tingle on the back of your neck like electricity might alert you of this... for the rest of you, something just feels ODD, and it's not just your surroundings.
What you do from here is your choice--but perhaps a good place to start would be one of the three the mechanical woman calling herself Veloxia mentioned...? Careful with violence, though. Veloxia may be broken, but her systems, even at rest, still observe this place...
